Personal training with the awesome Ron tonight! I did a little stretching while he finished up with his earlier client. I’m starting a new stage of my “New Rules of Lifting: Supercharged” program and I like to go over my exercise choices with Ron, review form, etc.

I went to hockey class #3 last week. I still stink. Superman dives still kick my butt. This class, we were on the full-size rink, and at an earlier time slot. When it came time for scrimmage, I noticed something. The instructor usually divides up teams based on jersey color, as that’s a pretty easy way to for us to identify our teammates. Usually, it’s three teams: white jerseys, black jerseys, and other-color jerseys.
I’ve considered taking yoga classes for ages. Yoga could alleviate my back pain and improve my posture. Yoga may increase my strength and flexibility. Yoga might lower my blood pressure and stress level. So, I’ve thought about it and thought about it – but not actually DONE it.
I have two friends that teach yoga, and numerous other friends that practice yoga. One friend takes yoga at her gym, a gym very close to my house. I mean, VERY close to my house – it’s on the next block and I pass it each day walking to and from the train stop.
