I grew up in a small town – a REALLY small town. Greeley, Nebraska has less than 600 people. I went home Memorial Day weekend to visit the parents and “change cars”. (My dad found a great deal on a used car – and agreed to sell my old car for me. Thanks DAD!!!)

Crop Circles

I hate yard work. I hate the outdoors in general. The temperature outdoors is rarely ideal. Unlike the indoors, carefully controlled by central air, the outdoors is usually either too hot or too cold. In the case of yard work, it’s usually too hot. Hi Blog,

I know I told you I had stories to share, but instead I feel compelled to tell you about my day at work.  Not that it was a particularly eventful day.  Like many, perhaps most, days, my “glamorous” job super analytical job mostly involved Sesame Street type games of “one of these things is not like the other”.

Go me!)

Dear Blog

Dear Blog,

Did you think I’d forgotten you?  I hadn’t.  I’ve thought of you often. I’m sorry I’ve neglected you. You know I was sick last winter, and being sick and at home by myself pretty much 24/7 – well, I just didn’t have much to say. Nothing I particularly wanted to say, or would want to read. Oh, I’ve kept up with blogging my creations with yarn – but we both know that’s primarily because I am too obsessive compulsive much of a perfectionist to make anything without adding it to my Ravelry project page – and then “must” have a blog post associated with every Ravelry project.
