Off the Hook

November 24, 2011 by Lynette

Finished a HUGE project!  I started this afghan for my living room back in April.  I hate motif projects (where you make lots of little squares/rectangles/circles/whatever and join them together).  However, this one was join-as-you go, which made it a little more tolerable, and I loved the pattern (“Asian Beauty”).

I also finished up another baby blanket – for a gift or donation to charity.  This took about a week. I wasn’t sure about the color combination, but now that it’s done I like it.  (The lighter purple is actually a yarn with white and purple and multi-colored ribbon together.)

It’s lovely! I also think that the baby blanket will make someone VERY happy.
