I’ve been having a lot of fun lately, finding patterns and yarns that just begged to be paired together. This circle vest begged to be made in a fun self-striping yarn.

"Coming Full Circle Vest" by Lily Chin, using Moda Dea "Sassy Stripes" yarn in "Swish"
I thought this vest was really fun – rather “retro”, and so I chose a rather retro color

Crochet Loop-Cable Vest by Kristin Omdahl, using Hobby Lobby "I love this cotton" in antique gold
I wanted to make this coat for ages, and would have liked to use a multi-colored yarn… but didn’t have just the right yarn. I realized I had this cream textured yarn which is fun – No sheep were harmed in the making of this sweater

"Shannon" by Doris Chan, using corespun poly wrap yarn and Caron Simply Soft in bone
A quick little “tawashi” (dishcloth)

"Scrubbie Dot" by Doni Speigle, in Pisgah red cotton
As usual, I have my failures… like this beaded scarf – which started unraveling, then when I tried to rip back to the missed stitch, the thread broke.

"Suspended in Space Stole" by Lily Chin, in cardinal rayon thread with 11/0 beads
My other attempt at a beaded scarf went much better. I love how this turned out.

"Beaded Cobweb Lace Scarf" by Joan Barnett, in cotton/viscose blend with assorted 3 mm acrylic beads
Another pair that begged to be together… this jacket is supposed to be made with five different colors of yarn, but, being lazy, I used another self-striping yarn – and love the results.

"Asymmetrical jacket" by Doris Chan, in Reynolds Santana yarn
As always, more in the works!
Hi there! Can you tell me where to get the pattern for the circle vest? Thanks!
