Finished some more projects!
The first – I was given three huge cones of yarn from my favorite yarn store as “homework”. I’d tried a few things (including a coat that I decided I didn’t have the patience for, and a shawl) and finally opted to use one strand of each cone (two cones were the same brown/black/bold color, one was a cream – all three with nubs of other colors). I made a shawl/wrap:

My grade school teacher, Sr. Columba, had told my parents to ask me to crochet her “something”. Something? Finally decided on a scarf. I remember each May in grade school we presented flowers to the statue of the Virgin Mary. Thought I’d present some flowers to Sr. Columba.

Still trying to utilize the yarn I’d butchered from my attempt at the rose shell wrap. Started to make a scarf. Realized I’d made it way too wide – I didn’t have enough yarn for it to be functional. Decided to “wing it” and fashion it into a shrug. Not half bad for winging it!

Little pink flowers shrug - improvised
Finished another scarf, which I have for sale at Mousabilities.
Just finished this cardigan – as part of a “crochet along” project on Ravelry.com. Pattern from Red Heart Yarns.
