I intended to write about my little adventure last weekend. I went to a local bar for the “mid winter dark dance”, featuring I:Scintilla, Defcon the Gothsicles, and DJ Scary Lady Sarah. Happy birthday to me… from me

My birthday is coming. Not soon, but it’s coming. I don’t mind getting older. So far, my 40’s have been pretty good. I was still figuring out what to do with my life in my 20’s and making all kinds of major decisions on school and career and whatnot. In my 30’s I was starting to have some idea what I was doing, but I was still working a lot of things out. Now I’ve got a career, I’m done with school and professional exams, and I’m kind of settled into my life and it’s all just hanging in there. At least, I hope so.
