Finally!
I FINALLY got around to contacting my political representatives about something that’s been driving me nuts. Spending billions of our tax dollars to lay fiber optic cable to provide citizens with DSL when 4G would be cheaper and faster!

People have asked why my column doesn’t appear in the Greeley Citizen weekly. Well, if you know me at all, you know it is NOT because I don’t have enough to say! I have a new roommate. A friend temporarily transferred to the employer’s Chicago office. I hope the transfer will become permanent. I’ve been the only human in my household for a long time, but I’m enjoying the companionship of a roommate, and my house is certainly large enough for the two of us. My roommate is getting accustomed to the rest of the house’s residents. I don’t mean the cats, she’s fine with the cats. She’s learning to live with the house’s ghosts.

Professional athletes have slumps. We frequently talk about the slumps of goalies, batters, pitchers, etc. They’re not the only ones. I’m definitely in a slump of late. I think the major cause of a slump is a lack of confidence. Things don’t go well, then you start questioning your own ability and doubting that ability and things go worse. That doubt can be fed by the media, or in my case well-meaning friends.
Since my last post, I’ve crocheted several items. Most didn’t turn out well and were frustrating endeavors, to say the least.
