Yes, I’m back to making silly little videos!
First up, Omaha descending the stairs. I always feel bad for him, struggling to go down while the other cats zoom by effortlessly. Omaha has an old hip injury and arthritis, and it’s very difficult for him to walk, let alone do stairs. (In fact, he’s no longer allowed to do the stairs himself as he fell a few times after this video was made.)

Next, Afer “singing”. She’s quite the little opera singer.

Finally, Louie giving Studley a massage. We added “mood music”.

I also recorded my friend Heather giving her cat, Rocky, his inhaled medications. Rocky has feline asthma. This is one of what I hope will be a series of educational videos for Feline Outreach at some point.

Lynette, Omie going down the stairs is quite possibly the saddest thing that I have seen all day. Poor guy… it looks like it hurts so bad.
I thought Fracky going up the stairs was bad when he first came home with us… but that is nothing in comparison to poor Omaha… and Fracky can run up them now, so it is a moot point anyhow.
Oh, Steph, I didn’t mean to make you sad!
I guess I don’t think of the video as sad, as I’m so proud of him! He is such a little trooper. In fact, after the video was taken (and I stopped allowing him to take stairs), I asked the vet to do x-rays again – and this vet also x-rayed his carpas (spelling?) – the little “wrists”. She said she’s shocked he can walk at all. Just goes to show you how much determination my guy has!
I made another video after this post… it’s buried in the “Banned!” post. It’s my favorite.
